Our Story
Since 1999
Real Earth is a registered pecan nut nursery that has been producing pecan nut trees since 1999. We are members of SAPPA (South African Pecan Producers Association) and registered at the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
We have extensive knowledge about the composition of pecan nut orchards and plant and soil health. As a result, we harvest pecan nuts from our nursery to produce pecan nut products of the highest quality.
At Real Earth, we cultivate healthy plants without harmful pesticides or chemical inputs. With this practice, we source virtually everything healthy plants need from our surroundings. The practice promotes life and perfectly complements other self-reliant, regenerative agricultural practices, such as permaculture, biodynamics, and no-till or traditional practices.
We continuously enhance our natural product range to benefit humans, animals, plants and the soil. Our animals are part of the holistic way of using nature’s resources for soil and plant wellbeing. Therefore, we use herbs and other plants in our inputs to boost our animals’ health and keep them healthy, happy and free of pests and parasites.
A story about a dog
There was a stray dog in the neighbourhood. The dog was in bad shape, and everyone suggested it would be best to put it down. We took the dog in, but it had many digestive problems due to neglect. As a result, it stayed fragile and thin for years despite everything we did to enhance its health.
We developed Healthy Animals Concentrate and added it to the dog’s drinking water. Within a few months, he was healthy, energetic, and assertive. Our efforts paid off, and we are happy to say it was 100% successful.

Our mission is to grow the best quality pecan nut trees that are healthy, poison- and pesticide-free and provide products of the highest quality. Also, to develop our employee’s careers to enable them to reach their full potential. As a result, they must feel valued and financially independent and contribute to society. Our values are the foundation of every decision and action, forming an integral part of our management process.
